The Dog At the Well A mother dog and her pups lived on a farm. On the farm, there was a well. The mother dog always told her pups never to go near or play around it. One day, one of the pups was overcome by curiosity and wondered why they weren’t allowed to go near the well. So, he decided he wanted to explore it. بہت عرصہ ہوا،کسی شہر میں ”ٹومبو“ نام کا لکڑہارا رہتا تھا۔ایک دن ٹومبو جنگل میں لکڑیاں کاٹنے گیا تو ایک زہریلے سانپ نے اسے ڈس لیا۔ اس کا ہاتھ خوف ناک حد تک سوج گیا۔ کسی رحم دل امیر شخص نے اس کا علاج کروایا،مگر زہر پھیلتا رہا۔آخر اس کا بایاں بازو کاٹنا پڑا۔اب وہ لکڑیاں نہیں کاٹ سکتا تھا۔اس نے سوچا،کہیں ملازمت کر لوں،مگر پھر سوچا کہ ایک ہاتھ کٹے شخص کو کون ملازم رکھے گا۔آخر اس نے کوئی ہنر سیکھنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔ وہ ”کومفو کراٹے“ سیکھنے کے ادارے میں داخل ہوا تو وہاں موجود تمام لوگ اس پر ہنس پڑے کہ دیکھو یہ ایک ہاتھ کٹا شخص بھی ”کومفو کراٹے“ سیکھے گا۔کیا کومفو کراٹے سیکھنا اتنا آسان کام ہے۔ ٹومبو نے سوچا کہ پلٹ جاؤں،مگر پھر ہمت کرکے کومفو کراٹے سیکھنے کا فیصلہ کر لیا۔ ”کومفو کراٹے“ کے استاد نے اسے ہر روز صرف ایک داؤ سیکھنے کی نصیحت کی۔استاد نے اسے محض دس،بارہ داؤ سیکھائے کہ اسی طرح مخالف کو پچھاڑا جائے۔دس بارہ دنوں کے بعد استاد نے اپنے ایک شاگرد کے ساتھ اس کا مقابلہ کروایا۔ ٹومبو نے چند ہی سیکنڈوں میں اسے گرا دیا۔استاد کے شاگردوں کو شکست دینا ٹومبو کا معمول بن گیا،کیونکہ استاد ہر روز ک
